It all started when Aamir Chhabdia noticed how often his wife, Saara, struggled to find clothing that was both modest and stylish. Every week, packages would arrive — hijabs, dresses, tunics — yet nothing ever seemed quite right. The options available either lacked the quality she desired or didn’t feel truly modest in design. Watching Saara’s constant search sparked a thought: "Why not create something better?"

In 2019, Aamir and Saara turned this thought into action, launching Modest Essentials from their home in Mumbai. What began as a small online store offering curated hijabs quickly evolved into a beloved brand dedicated to modest fashion essentials — from everyday dresses to elegant abayas, each piece designed with care, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of what modest wearers truly need.
